What’s involved in the reconditioning process?

All of our cars go through a thorough inspection and reconditioning process. This process includes everything from maintenance concerns (like brakes and tires), to mechanical or cosmetic concerns, to making sure you have the owner’s manual and a spare key. We want your car to be in the best condition possible when you get it!

Has the timing belt been replaced?

Certain vehicles require that the timing belt be changed at around 100k miles. It’s not always possible to know if I’d been done, but we can definitely check for you! We will let you know if it’s already been changed, and if it hasn’t we can do it!

Does my car come with new tires and brakes?

We replace brakes if there is less than 30% pad life left and tires if they are below 30% remaining (5/32nds tread).

Can I work with MATS.org if I am not in ministry?

While helping people in ministry buy vehicles is the cornerstone of our foundation, we are here to serve everyone!

How do we get the car?

You can pick up at one of our locations in Indiana or we can deliver. Let us know where you are and we can give you a delivery quote!

At what point am I committed to buy?

When we find your car, we ask for a $500 deposit that goes towards the price of the vehicle and it gives us the “go ahead” to buy your new car. If you don’t like the car when it arrives, you aren’t required to buy it!

Does MATS.org take trade-ins?

Yes! Send us some pictures, the VIN, mileage and any issues that you are aware of cosmetically or mechanically and we can give you a quote.

Do you provide financing options?

Yes! Click here to get pre approved and a quote on terms.

What fees are on top of the purchase price?

The only additional fee from MATS.org is a $99 documentation fee. However, be aware that local and state taxes will be paid when you register the vehicle, unless you pick up in Indiana. Should you choose to have the vehicle delivered, delivery fees will be extra. We can help you figure those out!

What type of warranty does Mats.org offer?

All of our vehicles come with a 30 day 50/50 warranty. If something goes wrong during that time, we cover 50% of the parts and labor to get you back on the road. We also offer extended warranties, we would be happy to give you a quote and discuss the different options.

Can I test drive the car?

We understand the buying a car online is not the norm. Once you have your new Mats.org car in your driveway, you can drive it and make sure that it is everything that we told you it was, we guarantee that you will love it or you don’t have to take it!

How quickly will I receive my car?

Our sourcing model is unique because we want to find the car that is right for you. Because of this, it typically takes 2-3 weeks. If the car is in our inventory, the turnaround time can be as short as one day.

What states do you service?

The uniqueness of our sourcing and logistics model allows us to deliver vehicles all across the continental United States. Although the bulk of our staff are based in the Midwest, we have partnerships nationwide. These strategic partnerships give us the flexibility we need to service our customers across the U.S.

How does your pricing work?

We try to offer the highest quality vehicles while keeping our prices as competitive as possible. Ultimately, we aren’t in control of prices – the market is. But our goal is to get you the best possible price, while maintaining a standard of quality that is above industry average. In most cases, because the vehicles we are buying are at auction, we’ll usually give you a range of possibilities as to what we believe the car can be purchased for at auction.

Are your prices negotiable?

We offer the best price from the start … we don’t like to haggle and assume most people don’t either! Remember that because the vehicles are usually at auction, there will be a range of possibilities as to what the vehicle could sell for.

Do we get a discount through Mats.org?

We give you the best price right from the start. Our prices typically fall in the middle of the market because our standard on quality is much higher than the the norm. Lower prices typically mean lower quality and we leave the pricing games to the other guys.
